2010 Vigil Candidates Announced!!



Alertness to the needs of others is th emark of the Vigil Honor.  It calls for an individual with an unusual awareness of the possibilities within each situation.  The Vigil Honor is a high mark of distinction and recognition reserved for those Arrowmen who, by reason of exceptional service, personal effort, and unselfish interest, have made distinguished contributions beyond the immediate responsibilities of their position to their lodge, the Order of the Arrow, Scouting, or their Scout Camp. 

The Vigil Honor nominees are selected by a Lodge Chief appointed Vigil Selection committee and must have two years service as a Brotherhood member of the OA.  The 2010 candidates for the Vigil Honor are:

-Drew Andersen
-Chris Mandler
-Ted Ellsworth
-Cory Scoffield
-Shaun Bawden
-Dave Kirk
-Albert Luce

Congratulations to these individuals for their outstanding service to the Order.

2010 Lodge Leadership Elected

At the 2009 Lodge Business Meeting held January 9, the 2010 Lodge Leadership was elected by members of the lodge.  These Arrowman will lead the lodge this next year, we wish them the best of luck as they begin their year of service.

2010 Founder's Award Recipients Announced

The Founder's Award was created to honor and recognize those Arrowmen who have given outstanding service to the lodge. The award is reserved for those Arrowmen who memorialize in thier everyday life, the spirit of achievement as described by founder E. Urner Goodman.  Our lodge is permitted to petition the National OA committee for two awards each year, one of which must go to a youth under 21.  The 2010 Founder's Award Recipients are:

-Chris Mandler
-Mike Chaffin

Congratulations to these outstanding arrowmen and thank you for your years of service to the Order.  More information about these arrowmen will be posted later.
